Don’t miss F.O.R.’s fun-filled two-day fundraising event
Festivites start Saturday (10/30) with the first annual “Ya Gotta Regatta”.
Are you wondering what is a “Ya Gotta Regatta”?
This is where participants travel by river or road in any type of watercraft or street legal vehicle to designated checkpoints near the river.
This is not a race of speed; rather the goal is to collect signatures on game cards which will be provided to each participant during registration.
The cards need to be returned Sunday at the Armadillo Ballroom in exchange for playing cards -- best hand wins!
On Sunday, the next day, the Halloween Fundraiser starts at noon with a roast beef meal and silent auction followed by a live auction.
The “Ya Gotta Regatta” winner, raffle winners and best Halloween costume will be announced and prizes awarded.
2010 Fundraiser Schedule
First Annual "Ya Gotta Regatta"
Saturday, October 30, San Bernard River
10:30 am - 1:00 pm Pickup Registration Packet at F.O.R. Community Center. $10 Entry Fee for each game card.
10:45 am - 4:00 pm (If entered by river) collect signatures at designated river checkpoints
10:45 am - 6:00 pm (If entered by road) collect signatures at designated road checkpoints
Sunday, October 31, Armadillo Ballroom, CR 521, one mile east of Brazoria
Noon - 1:00 pm Turn in signature card(s) and draw playing hand (no one allowed in line after 1 pm)
2:30 pm Winner announced and prize awarded

Noon Ghost Beef Dinner $10 with all the trimmings, Silent Auction, Costume Contest and Moon Walk for kids
Noon - 1:00 pm Drawing for playing hand by "Ya Gotta Regatta" participants
1:00 pm Live Auction starts
2:30 pm Winners announced: Ya Gotta Regatta, Land Grab, Raffle, Best Costume
